Guerrero borders the states of Michoacán, México, Morelos and Puebla to the north; to the east, it borders Puebla and Oaxaca; to the south, Oaxaca and the Pacific Ocean; and to the west, the Pacific Ocean and Michoacán. Guerrero has a surface area of 64,282 km2, which represents 3.3% of the country’s total area.
